- Should I call ahead to book an appointment?
Yes, please call ahead to schedule an appointment to ensure we are available to see your pet.
In the event that your pet requires emergency care during our regular business hours, please contact us right away.
- What is your appointment cancellation policy?
Need to cancel or reschedule an appointment? Please notify us as soon as possible so we can offer the space in our schedule to other clients.
- Do you treat allergies?
Skin problems are common in dogs and cats and can be caused by hormonal disorders, allergies, infections, or parasites such as fleas and mites.
Most allergies appear after the pet is six months of age, with the majority of affected dogs over age two. The most common symptom associated with allergies is localized or generalized itching of the skin.
Other symptoms include respiratory distress (coughing, sneezing, and wheezing) or digestive problems, which cause vomiting, flatulence, or diarrhea. These issues can be particularly difficult to treat and should be addressed promptly.
We can diagnose a skin problem by simply examining your pet. However, many dermatologic diseases or conditions require additional tests to ensure a correct diagnosis.
Depending on your pet’s symptoms and the results of his or her physical exam, we may run blood work or perform a urinalysis, skin scraping, or biopsies. If left untreated, allergic reactions and skin conditions can become serious medical concerns.
- Where can I purchase my pet's prescription and food?
You can purchase all the medications and specialty food your pet needs either in our online store or our in-house pharmacy.
- What is Pet Pro Connect?
Pet Pro Connect App enables pet owners to connect like never before with their vet through their smartphone. This mobile app puts pets’ care in the palm of owner's hand, reducing phone calls and paperwork. Owners can access their pets’ up-to-date medical records and send digital copies to other service providers.
- What are the fees associated with a veterinary appointment?
You will be financially responsible for the initial examination fee, as well as any diagnostics or treatment that you consent to for your pet. This payment will be due at the time of service.
For further diagnostics, surgery or other services, a deposit is required upfront with payment due in full when your pet is discharged.
- What are the fees associated with an emergency visit?
For all emergency exams, a deposit is required. Once our team and vets have examined your pet, you will be provided with an estimate for treatment to determine a treatment plan.
An upfront deposit is required for any further diagnostics, surgery or treatment, with payment due in full when your pet is discharged.
- Can you help with my pet insurance?
We’re happy to help you fill out pet insurance forms for your pet’s visit.
